Q: How can I support Kelowna during this time?
Deciding to halt operations is never easy for any business. But COVID-19 has had an unprecedented impact on the tourism industry, local businesses, and communities in the Okanagan, and around the world. We’re committed to doing our part in halting the spread of COVID-19, and protecting our guests, staff and community. If you would like to support Okanagan businesses during this difficult time, visit Tourism Kelowna’s website, and learn more about how you can support Kelowna from home.
Q: When will I be able to travel again?
UBC is closely monitoring updates from our Provincial Health Authority with regards to plans to gradually loosen restrictions on businesses and travel. Currently, non-essential travel is discouraged, businesses are encouraged to operate online, and community members are being asked to stay home. For now, we plan to keep our campus residences closed to non-essential visitors until further notice.
Q: Can I make a reservation for next year?
We are still here, and happy to work with you in planning your next trip to UBCO, whether you are coming as part of a large group, small party, or individual traveller! Don’t hesitate to check availability and rates, or reach out to us for any questions.
