University of British Columbia Okanagan meeting rooms and conference facilities include multi-functional, fully equipped theatre, classroom and outdoor venues, available to conference and accommodation groups every summer from May to August.

We offer more than 50 meeting rooms, ranging from small seminar rooms to large lecture theatres that can accommodate up to 300 attendees, in a variety of unique venues.

UBC Okanagan classrooms are designed to meet the needs of various meeting, hosting and learning environments, from traditional lecture theatres to computer labs, to flexible rooms for interactive group discussions and breakout sessions.

Arts Building

This versatile meeting and conference facility has over 30 standard and super classrooms with full audio visual equipment capability, and tiered seating for groups of 16 to 200. The Arts Atrium offers a great indoor green space for registration, coffee breaks and receptions.

A large lecture-style conference and gathering space?

Grand Theatre

This beautifully appointed theatre is ideal for groups of up to 200. Plush seats with flip-top desks provide conference comfort, while the touch-top podium with DVD, VCR, LCD Projection 20" screen, and sound system more than meet your audio visual needs.

Fipke Centre

The Charles E. Fipke Centre for Innovative Research offers a multi-media lecture theatre for 300, as well as a modern atrium suitable for receptions, registration and trade shows.

Enjoy the spectacular Okanagan summer in our beautiful outdoor courtyard. A perfect central campus spot for informal gatherings, lunches or receptions.

Sunroom

Picture windows surround 3 sides of our 4,000 square foot dining room, with seating for up to 300. This bright and airy space opens to a spacious deck for outdoor entertaining for a true Okanagan experience.

A large, more formal venue?

University Centre Ballroom

This well-appointed, traditional venue is the perfect setting for an elegant social event or reception, and easily accommodates seating for up to 160 guests.
